A Lecture presented by Jennifer Paxton, PhD, Professor at Catholic University
This October marks the 950th anniversary of the Battle of Hastings, where William of Normandy became “William the Conqueror” of England. But the Norman invasion of England in 1066 should not have succeeded. Dr. Paxton will discuss the clever military tactics and strategy combined with incredible good luck that changed the course of history.
